Setting up my store

Account Info How do I change my password? If you're capable of signing into Nuswag, go to Account Home > Account
Settings > Change password. Then just enter your new password of your
prefrence.
If you cannot remember your password, just click on the reset password link
on the sign in page. Nuswag will email you your login information.
How do I change the email address for my Nuswag account? Sign into Nuswag and go to Account Home > Manage Account > Edit
Account and retype a new email. You cannot re-use an email address that is
already associated with another Nuswag account.
How do I change my shipping address? At the begging of every checkout transaction you will be asked to either use a
previous mailing address or to type in a new mailing address.
How do I delete my Nuswag account? Are you sure? If you really want to, please contact Support to request this and
we'll do it for you. Be sure to send the message from the email address on file
in your Nuswag account along with your username.
Can I close my account to start a new one? We can go ahead and close any old account for you, and then you can go
ahead and open a new one. But do keep in mind that you will need to use a
different email address and none of your previously stored information will be
carried over to the new account. For security reasons usernames and emails can't be reused once they are in our system.
Can I have more than one account? Yes, but they will need to be linked to different email addresses.
My Profile How do I edit my profile information?
Login in to your Nuswag account. Go to Account Home > Account Settings >
Edit Account. From there you can upload a profile picture, and change your
profile information.
Why should I add my location?
Its your option to add your location, but do keep in mind that buyers like to know
where an their items will ship from when shopping.
Why should I add my birthday to my Profile?
Each day, the members who are celebrating a birthday are featured in the
featured store section. Just a little something from us at the Nuswag Team =)
Registering
Registering is the first step is registration process. Just click the Register link
at the top right of the site to get started. You’ll need to have a valid email
address, and a unique username and password. Your username must be a
single word, no spaces and only alpha-numeric characters. You can use both
upper and lowercase letters; usernames are not case-sensitive. Passwords
are case-sensitive, so be careful typing your new password.
Can I change my username?
Your Nuswag username cannot be changed except in the event of
documented legal action (such as trademark infringement) at Nuswags
discretion.
Why can’t I sign in?
You might be mistyping your password. Passwords are case-sensitive, so
make sure the CAPS LOCK is off. If you still can't sign in, follow the link on
the right of sign in page to reset your password.
You may also want to try clearing your web browser's cache and cookies, or
simply try accessing the site with a different browser program
I can't remember my password, what should I do?
If you cannot remember your password, just click on the “forgot my password”
link on the right of the sign in page. Nuswag will email your login information.
I can't remember my username, What should I do?
If you've forgotten your username, click the link on the right side of the sign in
page, entitled “forgot your username”. Enter the email address you used to
open the account and we will email you your username.
If I forgot my username and/or password and/or email address, what can I do?
In this case, you'll need to contact Support and ask for help. Keep in mind
we'll need some way for you to prove ownership of the account. Features Tags and how they work Tags are keywords used to sort items on Nuswag. The first tag on an item
determines which top-level category it's listed under. Subcategories are also
based on tags.
What are materials? How do they work? Materials work as keywords or tags but rather then helping you understand
what an item is used for, they help you figure out what it's made out of. You
do not need to fill out the material field if you don’t want to, we leave it up to
you.
What is the rating system? Every product on Nuswag has a five star rating system. Once signed in you
can rate any product you’d like. The ratings are kept private and are just used
for internal purposes. Highest rated products will be found when searching
by highest rated.
What is the blog? The blog page allows individuals to get an idea of what’s new, what’s in and
what everyone’s talking about. Individuals can read the various articles and
comment their opinions on the different blogs.
How does the search bar on Nuswag work? The search bar at the top of every page works based on what page of the site
you're in.
You can search in three different way on Nuswag: Product name, Store name
or tags. You can also narrow it down by color and price on the specific pages.
You can use multiple terms in a search to narrow down the results. Making a purchase How does buying on Nuswag work? To buy items of Nuswag you'll need to create a Nuswag account, creating a
Nuswag account is absolutely free. When you purchase of Nuswag you are
buying directly from the seller using your PayPal account. Keep in mind that
every seller must be paid individually.
Each seller may have their unique shipping and payment options. If you are
left with any questions regarding payment or shipment it is best to contact the
seller directly before making the purchase.
Why am I required to register before being able to buy anything? It is important for us to keep track of all the parties involved in each
transaction. Your username is the unique identifier which makes this possible.
How does the shopping cart work? The shopping cart allows buyers to collect items they want to buy in one
place and makes the checkout process easier. To add an item to your
shopping cart, click on the blue “Add to Cart” button on the top right of the
items page. If you change your mind and no longer want the product, simply
click the blue “Remove” link near that item in your cart. Once your done
shopping click the Checkout button and following the on-screen instructions.
If you are just browsing, save the items to your Favorites instead of your
shopping cart. Note that you must be logged-in in order to have your favorites
be saved. You can later search through your favorites and choose the ones
you’d like to purchase.
What happened to the items in my shopping cart? Items in your cart are not removed from a shop or reserved for you until you
complete the checkout process. Items may tend to sell out quickly, so it's a bit
risky to leave items in your cart for too long.
How do I ship to multiple shipping addresses? When you checkout at Nuswag, you can only ship to one shipping address
during checkout.
How do I pay the store? On the final page of the checkout you will pay each store individually through
paypal.
Listing currencies All items listed on Nuswag are in United States Dollars (USD). PayPal (also
used for credit card sales) will automatically convert your currency.
What is PayPal, how does it work on Nuswag , and how do I buy items with it? PayPal™ is an online payment processing company widely used on the
Internet to facilitate sales transactions, including credit card payments. The
seller will never see your credit card number. Nuswag is in no way affiliated
with or subsidized by PayPal. For more information about Paypal please visit

Do I need to create a PayPal account before I checkout? No, paypal will allow you to pay with your credit card just as you would on any
other online store.

What is PayPal™? PayPal is an online payment processing company widely used on the Internet
to facilitate sales transactions. It allows buyers to securely use a credit card
or their bank account to submit payment for Nuswag purchases. Nuswag is in
no way affiliated with or subsidized by PayPal; they are an independent
service.
Do I need a PayPal account to sell on Nuswag? Yes it is required; it is the most secure method of payment over the Internet
and is preferred by most buyers and sellers.
How does PayPal work on Nuswag? Once the buyer clicks on the "buy" button he is redirected to PayPal to start
the checkout process. The buyer can either sign in to their PayPal account, or
they can use a credit card without having to register for an account. How do I open a PayPal account? You will need to go to http://www.paypal.com and register. PayPal offers
various accounts, all can be used with Nuswag but some may have buying
limits so please choose carefully. We suggest you sign up for a business
account because it will allow you to accept credit cards.
Reporting a problem
As a buyer, how I do I report a problem with a transaction? If you have problems with your transaction, please try to contact the seller
directly. If the seller does not respond, and you believe that items have not been
shipped you may contact PayPal’s customer support to inquire about a claim for
refund. Also please send us an email regarding the problem so we can help you
resolve it.
How do I report a problem with an item I received? If you have problems with your item, contact the seller via email to try to agree
on a solution. If problems continue contact Paypal’s customer support to inquire
about an "item not as described" claim. If you believe you have received an
illegal or harmful product, please contact qualified authorities.
What can I sell?
What items am I allowed to sell on Nuswag? All items on Nuswag must be related to style. We know this is very vague but
think of it this way if you can wear it you can sell it (as long as it is not one of
the items you can't sell).
Examples: - Cothing - Jewelery - Bags - Shoes - Art - Cosmetic products
What items can't I sell on Nuswag? You can't sell items which have no relation to clothing such as a stereo or a
car. You also can not sell used items unless they are collectors items or are
considered vintage (20+ years). Of course, anything illegal, pornographic,
demeaning, or profane is not allowed.
*We reserve the right to remove any products which we feel do not meet these guidelines without prior
notification.
